About A Gift For Life
The project of "a gift for life" was born the day Paula Roldos’s daughter finished her cancer treatment. At the age of 5 years old, her daughter Lauren and the family could start a normal life... A new beginning... After winning a fight with Leukemia.
Because of this life experience, Paula decided to use her talent and personal contacts to raise money and help other families that go through many catastrophic childhood disease. She painted more than 70 paintings and used the profit of the sale of her paintings to organize a philanthropic effort a gift for life...
Paula wants to help develop scientific research and give hope to families and children who face these challenges and show humanity victory is possible.
She approached cancer research centers and organized medical training for pediatricians in these specialized cancer centers to give hope to families.
Paula’s effort has grown to a nonprofit corporation based in the USA where a group of medical professionals and art personalities participate in a board of trustees to materialize Paula Roldos’ vision.
It is the intent to fund the research and medical training proposals presented by specialized cancer research centers around the world though 5 star fundraiser events.
